Enabling Authority: Acts of the 67th Legislature. On April 15, 1986, the District adopted Rules & By-Laws which became effective immediately. On February 21, 1989 the District adopted a Management Plan. The District rules were ammened on June 20, 2000.
Aquifers: Edwards Trinity (Plateau) and a small portion of the Ogallala, also known as the High Plains.
Water Usage: Mostly agricultural and domestic, some municipal and industrial.
Data Collections: Water levels are obtained annually from approximately 80 wells located throughout the district.
Financing: Ad Valorem Tax @ 0.007076 per $100 valuation
